Melanie Emelio: Director of Young Artist and Intern Program SongFest June 5 - 28, 2012 SongFest is an intensive summer training program for singers and pianists based in Southern California. Each year, SongFest is held for 5 weeks during June and July. Through its two divisions (the Professional Program and the Apprentice Program), SongFest is able to address a wide range of need. From curious auditor to ambitious high school student to budding professional and to teachers who seek enrichment, SongFest urges its participants to bring themselves to the next level. Each program features an internationally respected faculty of professional performers, directors, lecturers and master teachers who form a cohesive, committed and united teaching team.
